Taylor's First Plane Ride

Taylor took her first plane ride! Daddy had to go to Seattle and Portland on a business trip so mommy and Taylor decided to tag along. What an adventure! We spent hours in a plane, a car and were in a different hotel room each night, and Taylor did so well! Mommy and daddy were so proud of how good she was ... and so were the other passengers on the plane! :)

Taylor slept on the plane for most of the ride, except when she decided to fill her diaper. Changing a diaper in the airplane bathroom is quite an adventure in itself!

Three Months Old!

Our little girl is getting so big! She's holding her head up so well and spends lots of time inspecting her hands. This week, she's determined to sit up on her own. She's not even close, but she tries so hard! She's starting to laugh a lot more, which is so fun. There's no sound sweeter than the laughter of our little Tay.

We went on another brisk walk, but Tay was bundled up. Thanks, Uncle Bob and Aunt Mar for this super cute snow suit! She was so warm and snuggly!

We stopped at the park for a swing, but I think mom and dad had more fun than Taylor!

We're Back!

Taylor's First Stroller Ride

All Ready for Church

Taylor's First Bubble Bath

Well, Taylor is almost 3 months old, and I'm finally re-entering the land of the living. Adjusting to parenthood is a wild ride, but one filled with such love, joy and abundant blessings. Taylor actually arrived on her due date (she definitely didn't get the punctuality from her mom!) and has been a sweet, patient, compliant baby ever since. Taylor was 8.6 lbs and 20.5 in. when she was born and she is now a whopping 12.2 lbs and 24 inches. She's growing like a weed! Tay, as we like to call her, is "talking" up a storm now. She has so much to say and is so serious about it; I just wish I had a translator! She also loves to talk to the animals dangling from her playmat and can stare at herself in the mirror for hours! Also, the best way to calm her when she cries is to bounce with her on the big blue ball. That thing has been a lifesaver and mommy and daddy have built strong cores in the meantime! :)

Thanks, again, to everyone who has prayed for "little bitty" throughout this whole process. We absolutely could not have gotten through this without your prayers ... and keep 'em coming 'cause we can still use 'em!

We promise to try to be more diligent with our posts from now on. My goal is to post at least one new photo a week, but feel free to hold me accountable! I will also try to add a few posts to catch you up on the past 11 weeks.
